Today's Interesting Company News Tartana Minerals Signs Strategic Investment Agreement With Xingye Gold(ASX: TAT) Tartana Minerals has entered a placement agreement with Xingye Gold (Hong Kong) Mining Company for a strategic investment worth approximately $5.18 million. The two-tranche placement will give Xingye a 19.99% voting interest in Tartana and make it the explorer’s largest shareholder and long-term strategic partner. The issue price of $0.053 per share represents a 165% premium to Tartana’s last traded price of $0.02 and a 112% premium to its 15-day volume-weighted average price (VWAP). The first tranche comprises an expected 43.46 million shares to raise about $2.3m and lift Xingye’s voting interest to approximately 9.99%, while the second tranche of about 54.33 million shares would raise a further $2.88m and take the investor’s interest to approximately 19.99%. All conditions must be satisfied by 16 November 2026, with completion subject to Xingye’s due diligence, Chinese regulatory clearances, and other required approvals including Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) approval for the second tranche. Tartana plans to direct the proceeds predominantly towards exploration at Nightflower and Montalbion for silver and across the Tartana mining leases for copper and zinc, and will also consider tin exploration across the broader Montalbion district. After the first tranche and FIRB clearance, Xingye may nominate one or two directors and may also provide geologists at its own cost to work with Tartana. Belo Sun Reports on New Court Proceedings Regarding the Volta Grande Gold Project(TSX: BSX) (OTCQX: BSXGF) Belo Sun Mining Corp. announced that a new Civil Public Action (“CPA”) has been filed in Brazil by the Federal Public Defender’s Office (Defensoria Pública da União) against Belo Sun Mineração Ltda., the Company’s wholly-owned Brazilian subsidiary, in connection with the Volta Grande Gold Project. The Brazilian National Indigenous Peoples Foundation (FUNAI) and the State of Pará are also named as defendants in the action. The action requests interim relief suspending the Project’s licences until consultation with the Mebêngôkre-Xikrin people has been completed, as well as the production, on an interim basis, of court-supervised expert evidence regarding the Project’s tailings dam. The claimant seeks collective moral damages of at least BRL 1,000,000 from each defendant, to be awarded for the benefit of the Indigenous community. The Company believes the new action should be dismissed, as it is substantially identical to a previous CPA and therefore gives rise to a clear case of lis pendens under Brazilian procedural law. The potential inclusion of additional Indigenous communities is also currently being addressed with FUNAI in conciliation proceedings conducted before the TRF-1. The Company is currently focused on the development of the Volta Grande Gold Project. Commodore Metals Reports Exploration Results on Keefers-Hannah Gold Project(CSE: C) Commodore Metals Corp. reported on its exploration program on the Keefers-Hannah gold project located near Boston Bar, B.C., approximately 130 kilometres northeast of Vancouver. The Hannah East zone has previous assay values ranging from 0.48 gram per tonne to 17.1 grams per tonne gold, and grab samples taken in 2010 assayed up to 8.70 grams per tonne in the quartz-arsenopyrite zone. The mineralized zone can be traced for approximately 150 metres and varies in width from two to five metres. An airborne survey completed by the company showed several significant magnetic and radiometric anomalies, and the Keefers showing previously produced a representative sample reported to have assayed 1.42 per cent copper, 2.24 per cent nickel, 0.15 per cent cobalt, 3.77 grams per tonne platinum and 0.79 gram per tonne palladium. In September 2024, a diamond drill program was completed using a hand operated Shaw Drill, with the Keefers Road Drill Hole drilled to a depth of 3.66 m and core recovery of 90%. The 2026 exploration budget for Phase 1 is $117,000, with specific allocations including $20,000 for airborne geophysics, $12,000 for grid establishment and geological mapping, $10,000 each for vehicle rentals, accommodations, and soil and rock chip sampling and analyses, $50,000 for drilling, and $5,000 for reporting. The company holds an option to acquire a 100% interest, subject to a 2% net smelter returns royalty, in 16 mineral claims covering approximately 2,741 hectares in New Westminster Mining Division, British Columbia. Management is reviewing the recommendations and considering its next steps, and the company projects that additional drilling in 2026 should be considered for the 1983 anomaly if new sampling and mapping identify areas of further interest.
